During my recent stay at José y Glendy Hotel in Progreso, I was pleasantly surprised by the blend of comfort and convenience. The air conditioning was a savior in the Yucatán heat, ensuring our spacious room remained an oasis after long days exploring. I loved that the hotel was just a short stroll from the vibrant boardwalk, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local vibe without being caught in the relentless cruise ship crowds. Our mornings began with a delightful breakfast on the terrace, where we often wandered out to take in the partial ocean views. The proximity to dining and shopping was an added bonus; we found plenty of local spots to indulge in—I'd definitely recommend trying the chicken wings for a snack! The only downside was the wait for the hot water in the shower, but patience is truly a virtue, right? this hotel offers a charming escape in a safe area, perfect for anyone wanting to unwind and soak up the beauty of coastal life.
